We are backed by years of experience, education, and training.

Since 2004, Trilogy Tree has achieved a reputation for excellent customer service, attention to detail and impeccable clean-up. Our Arborists are certified by the International Society of Arboriculture and participate in ongoing educational training to remain leaders in tree health care and removal techniques. On every job site, we create and maintain a workplace where our employees feel pride in the services that we offer and how we deliver them.

Our expansive services include pruning, removals, planting, storm damage, disease prevention, and cable supporting system. In addition to our services, we provide education and advice so our clients can make informed decisions.

Why Choose Trilogy?

  • Safety is top of mind at every job site. Our team has been trained to identify risk, and follow safe work practices in our ever-evolving work environment.

The knowledge of our team is current and expanding. We are constantly acquiring new qualifications and continuing to learn at conferences and courses.

Each of Trilogy’s two consulting arborists has 19 years of experience. They actively work with the team to share the knowledge that cannot be learned in books.

We take a lot of pride in the clean up after the work is completed. We like it when clients wonder if we’ve been there to prune the trees until they look up.

We are instructors, trainers and volunteers in the arboriculture industry. We have willingly educated many of our competitors because we believe that increasing knowledge within the industry is good for the trees.

Excellent technical knowledge and methodical planning ensures even the most hazardous or technically difficult tree removal is carried out safely and efficiently.

Our arborists are regular competitors at the Prairie Chapter Tree Climbing Championships and two of them have repeatedly earned spots at the International Tree Climbing Championship.

We are fully insured, and all employees are protected by WCB coverage.

    Our Team

    Jesse

Co-owner and intrepid leader of Trilogy Tree Services, Jesse got his ISA certification in 2000 and completed the Red River Landscape Technician Program in 2002.
With well over a decade of experience in the industry, Jesse has established himself as a great leader at Trilogy and in the local arborist community. He has been a part of the Arbor Day organizing committee for many years as well as a Trainer for Arboriculture Canada Training & Education. He has 8 Prairie Chapter Tree Climbing championships under his belt and has ranked 10th overall at the International Tree Climbing Competitions. Jesse also enjoys woodturning in his spare time because he just can’t get enough tree time. Legend has it, he actually has sap running through his veins.

    Carla

Another co-owner of Trilogy, Carla is the walking definition of a “tree person”. She completed the Red River College Greenspace Management program and obtained her ISA certification in 2002. She is well seasoned in residential tree work, and now runs the Trilogy team as well as instructing at U of M. She knows that with challenge comes reward and that is exactly why she’s so passionate about arboriculture. She’s a founding board member of the Manitoba Urban Forestry Council, a board member of Trees Winnipeg, and part of the organizing committee for Arbor Day. The only thing Carla is more passionate about than trees is her commitment to sharing her knowledge with her community.

    Trish

Trish has been holding down the Trilogy headquarters since 2017. Her patience and positivity are nearly superpowers, and she has a smile you can hear over the phone. She’s always working behind the scenes to keep the team organized and efficient and she is an integral cog in the Trilogy machine. She loves dogs, cross country skiing and spending time in her garden. Trish is also our in house tea connoisseur, and always has a delicious blend of something steeping in the office.

    Jordyn

Jordyn joined our team in 2016, and has been an integral member since day 1. Jordyn is an ISA certified, and TRAQ Qualified Arborist, and the crew lead within our team. Her skills were instrumental in the October storm of 2019, gaining years of experience in hazard tree abatement in the 2-3 months of clean-up that followed.  Jordyn is the current Prairie Chapter Tree Climbing Champion and has gone on to compete internationally.   She is also a dedicated volunteer for Trees Winnipeg’s Arbor Day.  Her positivity emanates to everyone around and her enthusiasm to accept a challenge allows her leaderships skills to shine. In her spare time, Jordyn is usually thinking up ways to make Trilogy even better!

    Mel

Mel joined Trilogy in 2018 with an unrelenting passion for tree care. She has worked as a ground person and climber as well as assisting with our planting and plant health care teams. Her diverse experience and knowledge about trees has developed her skills for estimating and consulting. Mel believes whole heartedly in Trilogy’s core values of connecting people, trees and the environment, and would love to help you with any questions or concerns you may have about your trees.

    Shawn

Shawn came to Trilogy after nearly a decade of tower climbing work. He is motivated and ambitious and puts forth his highest effort to care for every tree he encounters. Shawn is eagerly developing his technical knowledge of trees at the University of Manitoba Arboriculture Course and is working towards his ISA Certification. Shawn is a team player through and through, which is a real asset for a company that values teamwork like Trilogy does.

    David

David joined the Trilogy team in 2020 to manage and grow our Plant Health Care division. David is conscientious of the environment and always upholds Trilogy’s high standards in Plant Health Care by demonstrating expert applications and care.  His true passion is protecting Manitoba’s Elm trees from Dutch Elm Disease. David was introduced to Elm preservation by the DED pioneers of this province. He has now been injecting Elm trees for approximately 28 years, longer than anyone else in Manitoba!
